(No I didn't take the above picture but, I did edit it...some...!)
I hate having my picture made and I guess that is part of the reason, I enjoy taking everyone else's pictures. I began
really taking pictures in High School, which was a "Few" years ago. I started out with a simple instantmatic and soon
bought my first 35mm with all the lens and accessories. I was soon taking pictures of friends, concerts and before long weddings.
I even got to take pictures of a "National" group that toured the US. But, taking pictures at the Beach was one of my favorite
things, especially at sunrise. So a long ago started hobby has turned into a fun, enjoyable and memorable "job". Now
that the "digital" cameras have come around...it makes my life easier, I don't have to carry around 20 little canisters of film
everywhere and I love editing programs and have 4 that I use all the time. But, photography is really my second job to my
husbands and my wedding business, where I've taken pictures of over 400+ weddings. I never called myself a "Professional"
but, a lot of our couples and our friends have said that I am; and since most
professionals have not taken "that many" sessions, it makes me feel like... I might be??!! Now, I've taken photos of
everything from families on the Beach, stills of items for websights and advertising, glamour shots, Bridal Portraits, and Graduation
portraits... and so much more. And I'll try my very best to make your photos reflect the real ...you!
